I have watched hundreds of interviews, both for and against the standing for our national anthem and the civilian salute to our flag.
I watch people stumbling around with their answers ‘for’ and ‘against’ during interviews.
So, here is my ‘no stumble’ opinion about our national anthem at sporting events.
And tradition has it, while “We the People” are all gathered here, we choose to share, and show our conviction and solidarity to OUR Constitution and great country, and salute the men and women who have spent their lives for this gathering at this moment.
WE STAND TOGETHER!!!!!
This is not the moment for any other kind of opinion or rally.(period)
You either stand with us or you are against us.
This is a ‘no choice’ situation.
If your owners insist on paying you to perform, then you can stay in the locker room out of our sight during OUR pledge.
You may stay out on the field and stand as a guest, ….. with a proper attitude, and your hands not signing, showing respect to us, and the country that is allowing you to perform. If you can’t show us respect….. stay in the locker room!

My family’s left me home alone again, while they go on vacation in the North.
I had no idea. It’s been a year since the last one.
Two days in a row relaxed!!!!!!!
I just woke up from a corked grape juice induced nap.
Two days in a row, the dogs haven’t startled me awake.
Ahhhhhhhhh!
So, relaxed I can’t even change the channel and anyway something I wanted to see is just coming on.
“Minions”!
I wouldn’t normally change the channel to see it, but ………. it’s right there coming on! So……………
You know, I’ve been seeing Minions around for some time now but didn’t know where they came from!
I wouldn’t ask.
I was just going to accept their existence like I accept the existence of Libions!

Good Morning
Tuesday the day after Memorial Day.
Today yet, I still celebrate their victories and mourn their loss. Thank you brave people.
Today, Tuesday 5/2918, I will still fight to save our nation.
I only have words now.
Oh ya! I have my vote, and I have my dollar that I can spend wisely.
Well, I guess I still have my ears to listen to reason, and my mind to practice common sense.
My heart still beats to be used on things of the heart.

I guess those that gave up their lives …………..
are still counting on me today, tomorrow, tomorrow.

New Taxes and Laws Custom Made for Each of You
(The ratchet and pawl)
The mental state of our congress today is to pass laws that continually tighten the controls on the people with laws that encroach on every area of your life. Eventually, there will be so many laws that just stepping out of your house and breathing the government’s air will be against the law unless you’ve paid an oxygen consumption tax. Do not become a ‘special needs’ breather.
Get ready for the dog doo doo laws (guess what?), fishing tax, driving laws, drinking laws, making too much money laws….get the idea. We already have these.
What’s worse is, the senate has tried to pass laws to prevent us from the changing the laws once they’re passed. Of course this is unconstitutional and probably would not stand up in court, but with the new ‘puppet’ judges that have been appointed, who knows?
The mechanism in the picture is called a ‘wheel and pawl’.
A ratchet is a wheel with teeth that lean one direction, creating a catch pocket for the lever’s (called a pawl) opposing tooth to fall in to, and lock. When the wheel is turned, the pawl’s catch drops in the next space, which locks the wheel one more ‘click’ in that direction. Notice, there is not a way to undue the click! This wheel can only advance in one direction and has no mechanism to reverse the direction.
Picture each tooth on the wheel as a law. Picture the movement of the wheel as a law being passed. As the law is passed, there is a click each time the pawl’s tooth falls into the next space. Each time you hear a ‘click’, another law has been passed, and cannot be taken back.
Every time someone says “there should be a law against that”, no matter how petty, they are expressing the desire to remove another freedom from someone. Sooner or later, there will be laws that affect you and your way of life.
Wherever there is a cache of money or a wealthy money circle, there are eyes watching it, within and without, watching its edges as it passes looking for a way to remove some of it to their own resources.
The largest of these is what the government likes to get into through very slowly manipulating laws, breaking them down to create weak spots, making up expenditures that somehow, left-handedly siphon funds to favors and friends, short and long term.
And if they can do it quietly, I guess that makes them a little better thief (at least in their own mind). Always follow the money with a purpose, or just don’t care! It’s up to you!

At some point, when a government gets so big and handles so much money, little thief ethic groups that manage to get a job with them, steal a little. Then they find out they aren’t being caught and steal some more and don’t get caught. Then they lie to protect their great money making position with all of its benefits and notoriety.
When one finely does get caught out of carelessness and greed and the others see that they weren’t punished, they realize they are in a club of thieves and begin to protect each other, say ridiculous things, don’t do their job because they are enjoying the fine life of stolen tax money from the working class.
At some point they know they aren’t doing their job but don’t care.
The bottom feeders in the public that realize that the maze of government programs can’t be policed, so they begin to steal. The mass gets so large it’s like a voting school of fish. Waving and weaving they avoid the one being caught out of the masses of schools of fish, and they fuel each other with their own ‘media’, and religions of crutches and rationalization, and vote for the people handing out the cash. It becomes a way of life, and they spread the word to the other nations.
America is stupid and they hand out cash!
Then one day, an enforcer comes along………… and they hate him. Doh!
A flusssshhhhhhh, they scream as they try to fight the current, lose the battle, and go down the hole.
All of the bottom feeders begin to fade away as their food supply dwindles and quality of life goes down the tube too.
New, shiny men are back in power, the original ethic is re-instated much to the chagrin of the few left over snipers and screamers that cannot understand.
Things get better for the industrious class of inventors, artists, producers and gazers.
But, down in the sewer, in the dark, there survived the little stinky creatures, and they begin to multiply and mumble ………………. rdd
There is a kind of American, not driven solely by his/her religion, political party, disease, morays and morals, and temperament, that understand the gears of machinery, the variations of a human mind, the ideal society that cannot be achieved, but bettered, the cultures and subcultures of the existing society, the honesty of what it takes to make an imperfect engine run, that is able to artfully disassemble and re-assemble the imperfect gears and meters to keep that engine running as smoothly as it is capable with the technology at hand.
