About Ronald D. Drobeck

I've read, learned, been discriminated against, patronized, lied to, laughed at, laughed with, and ignored. I'm not a minority, not tall, not good looking, not skinny, not hairy, and can see 10 miles, but not two feet. I've been a paperboy, college student, licensed nursing home administrator, professional musician (country swing drummer), duck and goose hunter, fisherman, conservationist, Eagle scout, camp counselor, canoeing instructor, lifeguard, comedian, restaurant owner, licensed exterminator, insurance agent, warehouse manager, carpenter, conservative, father of 4, baseball coach, husband, worrier, writer, embryo gardener, photographer, and nice guy. now, old.

Tomorrow, tomorrow (poetry the day after Memorial Day)

Standard

Good Morning
Tuesday the day after Memorial Day.
Today yet, I still celebrate their victories and mourn their loss. Thank you brave people.
Today, Tuesday 5/2918, I will still fight to save our nation.
I only have words now.
Oh ya! I have my vote, and I have my dollar that I can spend wisely.
Well, I guess I still have my ears to listen to reason, and my mind to practice common sense.
My heart still beats to be used on things of the heart.
Ha!
I guess those that gave up their lives …………..
are still counting on me today, tomorrow, tomorrow.

Laugh or Cry, Try, Try, Try (inspiration)

Never forget to call on your own inner strength when needed.

Stop, think, breath, and energy up.

Some things require an enthusiastic attempt, some require slow determination, and some things require that you walk away and reset.

How many times have you failed to fix or achieve something for an hour, walk away, come back fresh and watch as what ever it was falls into place so easily, you don’t know whether to laugh or cry?
